 Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for the under mentioned post on prescribed
application form:-

1. Name of Post:- Male Constable in India Reserve Battalions
2. Pay Scale of Post :- 5200-20200 plus GP of Rs. 2000/-.
3. Details of vacancies:-

4. Eligibility:-
a) Nationality: As per PPR 12.14 (1).
 b) Domicile: As per PPR 12.14 (1)
c) Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification for a candidate
to be eligible for selection as constable shall be 10+2 for all categories.
d) Character Certificate: Candidates are required to produce a certificate of
character from the Principal Academic Officer of the University, College, School or
Institution last attended.
e) Age limits :- a) Lower-18 years
 b) Upper-25 years
c) (i) For the candidate belonging to the Schedule castes and
Backward class categories relexation of upper age limit of 5
years shall be given as per Punjab Police Rule 12.15 (1).
(ii) Ex.-Servicemen upper age limit is 40 years plus continuos
military service added by three years as Govt. instruction
issued vide letter No. 3/3/99-1GSIII dated 22.09.1999.
 The break in service between the date of discharge and
between 1st day of the month in which enrollment process is
started, shall not be exceed four years.
 (Exact date on which the date is to be determined is 01.10.2013) f) Physical Standard:
 (i) Height-Minimum 5’-7”
 (ii) Chest-Un-expanded – Minimum 33”
 Expanded - Minimum 34 ½
 (Minimum expansion of one and half inch)
(Note - Relaxation in Physical Standard to the extent of one inch in height and one
inch in chest will be available to candidates belonging to Scheduled caste, backward
Class categories and Ex.-Servicemen as per PPR 12.15 (2)).

5. Application fee:-
The General Category candidates and dependant daughters of ESM are required to
pay application fee of Rs. 100/- to be deposited in Haryana Government Treasury under
head “0051-Public Service Comission-NA-104-UPSC/SSC Examination Fees -99-Fees from
application to the Haryana Police Recruitment Board. The candidates shall mention the
treasury challan number and date of the fees in the online application at the relevant Column
ESM candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.

6. How to apply:-
Application can be submitted online only along with application fees of Rs 100/- for
a particular category of post as applicable. Due to technical reasons the online applications
will be accepted after 13 Nov 2013.


7. Last Date:-
 The online application can be filled up to 13 Dec-2013 after which the link will be
disabled. The candidates are strictly advised to apply online well in time without waiting for last
date of submission of online application. No offline application form will be accepted by the office.
