 FACT Ltd. Udyogamandal proposes to select eligible candidates as paid Apprentices under the Apprentices Act in the following categories :-

 1) TECHNICIAN (DIPLOMA) APPRENTICES :- Period of Training : 1 Year Qualification : Diploma Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation, Chemical and Computer Eligibility : A Pass in Diploma, should not have completed more than 3 years after passing Diploma as on 01-04-2014 Age limit for Diploma Engineering is 23 years as on 01-04-2014.

 2) TECHNICIAN (VOCATIONAL) APPRENTICES (1) Accountancy and Auditing (2) Office Secretaryship (3) Civil Construction and Maintenance. Period of Training : 1 Year Qualification : A Pass in VHSE Examination in the above Trades. Eligibility : Should not have completed more than 3 years after passing the Trade as on 01-04-2014 Age limit for Technician (Vocational) is 23 years as on 01-04-2014.

 TRADE APPRENTICES :- Period of Training : 1 Year (except Plumber, Carpenter & Mechanic Diesel Trades is 2 years). Qualification : ITI Trade Certificate in Fitter, Machinist,Welder, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, COPA, Plumber, Mechanic Diesel & Carpenter. Eligibility : A Pass in the relevant ITI / ITC Trade Age limit for the above Trade Apprentice is 23 years as on 01.04.2014. NOTE :-

 1. 1Age relaxation for SC, ST , OBC and PH candidates is allowed as per rules. (PH candidates will be considered for selection to COPA Trade and Computer discipline in Diploma category of apprentices.

 2. The Training Period and Stipend will e as per Apprentice Act.

 3. Candidates must bring with them the originals and one set of attested copies of the following documents / certificates. i) Proof of date of birth (SSLC) ii) 2 Copies of Passport size Photos. iii) ITI / Degree Certificate and Mark list (as applicable) iv) Caste certificate in the case of SC/ST/(OBC non Creamy Layer) Certificate issued by an authority, not less than the rank of a Thahsildar, v) Disability Certificate (for PH candidates) from competent Medical Board.

 4. The selection will be based on the following criteria : i) Qualifying Examination 50% ii) Written test 50%.

     5. The written test will be conducted at FACT Training Centre, Udyogamandal near Kalamassery - Kochi and it will be of one-hour duration.

 6. Dependent candidates must submit a dependency certificate from the HR Department while appearing for the written test.
