Closing Date: 31/12/2013 Medical Council of India vide letter no. MCI-34(41)(E-4)/2013-Med/18191 dt. 02/07/13 has approved intake of 100 MBBS students for the academic year 2013-14.

 (1) As Medical Superintendent of a hospital with beds above 500 for 2 years or 5 years as Deputy Medical Superintendent and should have completed 10 years service after MBBS and 5 years after M.S./M.D. or equivalent qualification. OR Professor of a Clinical Department of Medical College for 5 years‟ standing with experience of Hospital Administration.

2. Professor Physiology M.D. (Physiology) /M.Sc.(Med. Physiology) with Ph.D. (Med. Physiology) Experience: (i) As Reader/Associate Professor in Physiology for four years in a recognized medical college Desirable (ii) Minimum of four Research publications indexed in Index Medicus/national journal and one research publication in International Journal.

3. Professor Microbiology M.D.(Bacteriology)/M.D.(Microbiology)/ Ph.D.(Med. Bacteriology) M.Sc.(Med. Bact.) with Ph.D.(Med. Bacteriology)/ M.Sc. (Med. Microbiology) with Ph. D.(Med. Microbiology) Experience: -

9. Professor Radio- Diagnosis M.D.(Radio-Diagnosis)/ M.D.(Radiology/ M.S. (Radiology) Experience: (i) As Reader/Associate Professor in Radio-Diagnosis/Radiology for four years in a recognized medical college. Desirable (ii) Minimum of four Research publications indexed in Index Medicus/national journal and one research publication in International Journal.

10. Associate Professor General Medicine M.D.(Medicine) M.D.(General Medicine) Experience: - (i)As Assistant Professor in the subject concerned for five years in the MCI recognized medical college. Desirable (ii)Minimum of two research publications accepted/published in indexed/National journals during the tenure of the Assistant Professor.”

15. Assistant Professor M.D /M.S in the concerned subject from MCI recognized medical college.

16. Senior Residents Post Graduation / Three years experience of residency in the concerned subject from MCI recognized institute.

17. Demonstrator i) MBBS from any Institution / University recognized by the MCI. ii) Must be registered under the State / Central Medical Registration Act. iii) Preference will be given to a Postgraduate candidate. In the subject of Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology and Microbiology, candidates possessing M.Sc. (Medical) qualification in the subject concerned are also eligible to apply.

18 Medical Officer DGO from MCI recognized medical college; Preference will be given to Postgraduate qualification in Obst. & Gynae. (DNB/MD/MS).
 For DNB candidates, qualification as per MCI guidelines. Age: Upper age limit for different posts:
 Medical Superintendent and Professor not more than 62 years.
 Associate and Assistant professor not more than 50 years.
 Medical officer / Demonstrator/ Senior Resident not more than 40 years.
 Age will be counted till the last date of submission of application.  However in case of exigency the age limit can be relaxed. Candidates above 62 years of age may be considered for contractual appointments.

Duration:

1. The tenure of the posts of Senior Residents is for a maximum period of three years only.
2. The age of superannuation for regular faculty will be 65 years and 70 years for those on Contractual basis. Reservation as per policy of State Govt. of Haryana. Salary and Pay Scales: Note:- 1. Non-medical Teachers may be appointed to the extent of 30% of the total number of posts in the departments of Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology and Microbiology. However, in the Department of Biochemistry, non-medical Teachers may be appointed to the extent of 50% of the total number of posts in the department. 2. The experience gained in a Medical College not recognized/ approved by the MCI will not be counted towards teaching experience.
3. The degree of undergraduate/postgraduate/DM/M.CH not recognized by the MCI will render the candidate ineligible.
4. The qualification and experience will be counted up to the last date of submission of applications.
5. Details of the Research Work Publications (in annotated form) indicating index/non-index along with attested copies and best seven research works along with citations supported by relevant document, must also be furnished. Any other relevant outstanding National International achievements in the profession supported by the documents, if any, must also be supplied.
6. Non-medical Teachers will not be entitled to N.P.A.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:-

1. The candidate already in service (Govt. /Semi Govt. /Corporation or Autonomous Body) should apply through proper channel and he/she may send an advance copy of the application to avoid delay but the application through proper channel must reach in due course of time.
2. The candidate who is in service will have to produce No Objection Certificate from his/her Head of Institution/employer at the time of interview otherwise he/she will not be allowed to appear for interview.
3. Desirous doctors belonging to HCMS Cadre possessing the required qualification and experience may also apply for the aforesaid posts.
4. Submission of incomplete application i.e. without attested copies of testimonials of academic career, experience certificate, attempt certificate etc. may render the candidate ineligible.
5. The candidates who wish to apply for more than one specialty; they should submit separate application forms for each specialty.
6. Numbers of posts are liable to increase or decrease either way, including complete withdrawal.
7. The applications received after the closing date will not be considered.
8. The benefit of reservation, including the benefit of relaxation in upper age limit in respect of candidates belonging to reserved category, will be as per Haryana Govt. instruction issued from time to time and is restricted to Haryana domiciles only.
9. A passport-size photograph, duly attested should be affixed on the application form. Applicants are requested to submit their applications on the prescribed Performa which can be downloaded from the website www.gmcmewat.ac.in/www.dme.gov.in.
