UPSC JOBS / Hiring of Trained IT Manpower as SENIOR DEVELOPER
Applications in the prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for engagement as Senior Developers and Software Designers to be deployed at UPSC on short-term contract basis. The number of vacancies, essential qualifications, experience, emoluments, duties etc. are given below;
1. SENIOR DEVELOPER – 7 POSTS CONSOLIDATED SALARY:- Rs.35,000/- QUALIFICATION:- B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. Engg. in Information Technology/Computer Science OR M.C.A. (Regular Course) from Government recognized institute/university.
2. SENIOR DEVELOPER – 1 POST CONSOLIDATED SALARY:- Rs.35,000/- QUALIFICATION:- B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. Engg. in Information Technology/Computer Science OR M.C.A. (Regular Course) form Government recognized institute/university .
General Terms & Conditions ;
1. Job Requirement: Selected candidates will be required to handle various projects such as ORA, SOAP, E-Admit Card, DAF, Accounting Software, Panel and Data Bank Software and Recruitment Rules Software.
2. Nature of Job: Short-term contract basis. During the period of the contract, he shall be required to work full-time and shall not engage in any other full-time/part-time employment.
3. Salary & Emoluments: Selected candidate shall be paid a consolidated salary as provided for in Annexure-I. No other allowances such as HRA, Transport Allowance, CCA etc. will be admissible during the period of the contract.
4. Period of Contract: The contract shall be initially for a period of 6 months extendable from time to time up to a maximum period of 3 years. However, either party may terminate the contract by giving the other party at least one month’s notice in writing stating its intention to terminate the contract.
5. Selected candidate shall be required to report for duty immediately on receipt of Offer of Intent.
6. Selected candidate shall work under the supervision of IS Wing of UPSC and shall report to Senior Manager, IS Wing, UPSC.
7. Selected candidate shall maintain the safety, security & confidentiality of data handled by him. He shall maintain high standard of integrity. 8. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview. UPSC reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason.
9. Duty Hours: Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. However, in case of exigencies, the duty hours may extend beyond the normal working hours and even on Saturdays and Sundays.
