Applications are invited for engagement of Trade Apprentices under Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1991 in Department of Atomic Energy, Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research,,General Services Organisation, Kalpakkam in Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu. This selection is only for Apprenticeship training on Stipendiary basis. The vacancies break-up is as under;

 STIPEND PER MONTH WILL BE PAID AS DETAILS GIVEN UNDER;-

 01. Electrician One year Rs.2,800/- 02. Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) One year Rs.2,800/- 03. Mechanic (Diesel) Two years Rs.2,400/- 1st year Rs.2,800/- 2nd year 04. Programming and System Administration Assistant One year Rs.2,100/- 05. Medical Lab Tech. (Radiology) Six months Rs.2,100/- 06. Medical Lab Tech. (Pathology) Six months Rs.2,100/- 07. Gardner One year Rs.2,100/-

Educational Qualifications ;

(a) Electrician :

 SSC/SSLC(10th Std.) passed with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent. ITI Certificate of two year duration in the relevant Trade is essential. (b) Mechanic(Motor Vehicle):

 (c) Mechanic(Diesel): ------------- SSC/SSLC(10th Std.) passed with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent. ITI Certificate of one year duration in the relevant Trade is essential.

 (d) Programming and System Administration Assistant/: H.Sc(12th Std.) passed under 10+2 system of Education with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent. ITI Certificate of one year duration in Computer Operator & Programming Assistant / Programming and System Administration Assistant or relevant Trade is essential.

 (e) Medical Lab Technician (Radiology);

 H.Sc(12th Std.) passed under 10+2 system of Education with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Medical Radiography Trade Certificate (not less than one year) conducted by recognised Institutions.

 (f) Medical Lab Technician (Pathology):

 H.Sc(12th Std.) passed under 10+2 system of Education with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Trade Certificate of not less than one year duration in Medical Laboratory from a recognised Institutions.

 Note:- In case the candidate in any of the above two trades [(e) & (f)] is not available, the Apprenticeship Training will be inducted for such trades for which candidate is available at the discretion of Competent Authority.

 (g) Gardner:

 SSC/SSLC(10th Std.) passed with Science as one of the subjects or its equivalent.

TRAINING PLACE: General Services Organisation, Kalpakkam/Anupuram.

 (a) AGE LIMIT : Not less than 16 years as on 01.01.2014 - Maximum age limit is 22 years for General Candidates. (for all communities) .

 Age Relaxation on Reserved posts :

 (i) SC/ST - Relaxation upto 5 years  (ii) OBC - Relaxation upto 3 years.
